Paul Webster – Company Director

Growing up in Harewood, I spent a lot of time exploring the great outdoors with my friend Nick, the company director of Agripest Management. I left school at the age of 16 with little in the way of qualifications and no idea which career path to take. I began working in the catering sector and soon learned the risks of having pests on-site and how this could quickly lead to disaster. Progressing through the ranks, I became a member of the management team. This meant that I was responsible for the clinical standards required to ensure the paperwork met the current legislation for food hygiene and pest control. Over time my career moved me into the retail sector. Working in this industry I developed high levels of standards and expectations. My pursuit of excellence ensures that customer satisfaction is a number one priority. For the past three years, I have run my own waste removal company, during this time I have been exposed to a variety of pests and have seen the impact these can have on families, homes and businesses. Nick recently got in touch and offered me the opportunity to run Agripest West Yorkshire. Knowing that I could combine my knowledge of the commercial food and retail sector and my customer service experience, I accepted his offer. I have since undergone a rigorous training programme with Agripest Management and Killgerm to ensure I am fully qualified and licensed to help you meet all of your pest management needs.

Gina Webster – Company secretary

Working hard behind the scenes I use my customer service and organisational skills to keep Paul on track. I make sure Paul is in the right place at the right time so that his only focus is the customer. Alongside keeping Paul on track, I also work as a childminder and run my own face-painting business. We have two boys, Joshua and Mason and a working cocker spaniel who also keeps us on our toes. I too have previously worked in a managerial position within the catering industry and understand the stresses that come with pests and food hygiene. That is where we come in, to ensure you are audit and food safety compliant. Being homeowners we also understand how upsetting it can be to find pests in your home, whether that is wasps, mice or fleas, we can help to discreetly eradicate and prevent reoccurrence.

What makes a Pest controller?

Pest controllers are not just “pest controllers” but detectives, scientists, builders, carpenters, working at height experts, dangerous environment specialists, conservation officers, wildlife managers, customer service professionals, auditors, accountants, engineers, marketing managers, hazardous material experts, biologists, I.T specialists, mums and dads.

We frequently speak to customers who are shocked to discover the variety of the work that we do, situations we find ourselves in and what is required to be an award-winning pest control service.

The days of throwing poison around are over (thankfully) and the era of integrated pest management that requires adaptable and skilled wildlife managers are in!

As pest controllers we are not only want to treat the pest issue but liaise closely with our customers. We aim to explain the pest’s biology, locate the entry points, install management processes to prevent further issues and help to implement these physical controls.

As a professional pest management company, we recognise the importance of high-quality staff training and investing in the best quality materials and equipment. This enables AgriPest West Yorkshire to offer a premium pest control service with customer satisfaction at the very heart of our company.

Then there is the work that goes on behind the scenes. Many late nights and early mornings are spent writing reports, quotes and invoices, which ensures the customer is pest free and fully satisfied with our service.

We work incredibly hard as a team to ensure all of our customers are pest free and happy. 100% goes into each and every job and this has gained us some of the best customers in Yorkshire!!
